Was it worthwhile

As the winds are passing,
A strange thought is passing by.
Has dis life been worthwhile?..
Life has been a compromise
Always has been dat way..
Past few yrs i have been running by,
To prove dat i was worthwhile..
But the thing is i forgot to live,
To live the moment.
Now wen all i had has been lost,
A strange thought is passing by,
Is this my lyf all about just compromise,
I smiled i cried,
I had i lost,
I thought but never forgot,
I wanted but never got,
Now as i sit wondering whether i will have,
That which were rightfully once mine,
A strange thought passed by,
Has dis life been worthwhile?..
